Today was a busy day for me. My grandmother was scheduled for a full abdomen ultrasound today. It was requested by his doctor when we visited him on Saturday. The urine test results stated that my grandmother indeed had an infection and blood on her urine. The doctor wanted to request for an ultrasound to make sure that there is no stone in her kidney that might be the cause of her unbearable pain.
When I inquired the Total Health Diagnostics for their full abdomen ultrasound on Saturday, the lady in the information both told me that it would costs Php1450 and the patient to be tested should have undergone 4-6 hours of fasting. The patient can only drink some water if he/she feels hungry. Since they were closed at 2 pm that time and my grandmother had not undergone fasting yet, we had no choice but to take her again today in the clinic.
Total Health Check Diagnostics is located in San Isidro Talisay City Cebu. It is just few kilometers from my home. I think it is just new since last time was the first time that I have heard of the laboratory clinic. We used to go to the Hi-precision clinic for laboratories since they are more credible and known. I think we will still come to the Total clinic in the future if ever we will be needing some laboratories. It is the second time that I visited the place and I was amazed because for the both times we are the only client there. So, it really is less hassle to us. Also, the parking area is quite big and they also know how to maintain cleanliness in the area. One thing that I love more about it is that their fees are lesser than the other lab clinics.
After my grandmother's ultrasound laboratory test, we would be submitting it to the OPD department of the hospital that we have brought my grandmother to. I just hope and pray that everything will be okay and she won't need any medical procedures and operations. She is very scared with that. And she is also very old for that as well. Please help me pray for her health.
