Instead of a post. #2

Losing my post to @steempeak's scheduling bug really messed me up.
Im very much a stream of consciouness author, im always disappointed when i spend several hours on a post and then it dissapears.
No way i can do it justice from memory, too many edits.

Whoever devised the draft feature for the posting code was a genius.
I cant count the times i've been left with nothing for several hours of work.
I guess if i want to schedule posts to post while i'm sleeping i will have to copy and paste them somewhere that doesnt have bugs.
I was really looking forward to stacking up posts ahead of time, but if they are just going to disappear, what would be the point?
Smdh.

After fedbook booted me, in 2012, for not issuing myself some form of govt id, i was relegated to posting on forums for years.
Those things are pretty dismal.
Usually there are two or three hardcore regulars that have been there for years that treat it like their personal fiefdom.

At most their are 10 regulars that put up with the bs because they are committed to the cause.
Kinda like steemit was when i got here.
They are mostly ok, but it doesnt take long to run out of things to say.

Breaking into the boys club is difficult enough, but when combined with my irreverent attitude, rejection of ass kissing skillz, and dismal adoption rates, the forums were a living hell.
At least here on steem we got new faces turning up most of the time.

When i got here, there were only 1200 authors.
The boys club was well established, but somewhat resigned to adopting new members, mostly.

It was common knowledge that who you associated with would affect your earnings.
It still does, if you will get on your knees you can do pretty well here.
If you approve of the disapproved you wont be allowed to become a dolphin, either.

It's a really crappy way to run a world, but you can't convince those that get their bread buttered by it to accept that.
The greediest prosper the most because they care enough to sell their souls for a few extra sheckels.
Me, well, that sounds like to much effort to be worth my time.
Sheckels don't excite me, much.

Its a good thing i quit smoking, never drank coffee, didn't buy into the label whore mentality, nor any other bad habits that cost money.
Now i get to be free to be me without having to grease up any orifices just to get by.

Its not easy getting by like this, i wouldn't recommend it to anybody not driven to it by circumstances, but once you are there, might as well embrace it.

For those of you wondering why i go out of my way to alienate others, there is a good explanation.

Ok.

Finding out who thinks it's ok to persecute others because reasons, is very valuable knowledge to have.
Getting it up front saves the the time wasted being nice to somebody that doesnt deserve it before suffering the ultimate disappointment inevitably on its way.

People that secretly discriminate against others because they dont like them are the people that lie to your face and stab you in the back.
Id much rather know that you are a pos up front, rather than by surprise, from behind.

If you are not forgiving of differences in others then i would like to know that as soon as possible.

The people that went behind my back and told people that they would be better off if they didnt support me are the very ones screwing up your world, too.
They just do it from the dark instead of having the courage of their convictions.
You probably worship the ground they walk on because they have cultivated that in you to profit from it.

If you dont like me because i wont shave, or kiss your ass, i dont want to waste my time on being nice to you, capisce?
For sure if you are the type to hide your true feelings and smile to my face while stabbing me when my back is turned.

This is the world crapitalism has built for us.
It makes liars of us because we need to be nice to people we dont like in order to eat.

I could be being nice to somebody that has it coming.
Maybe somebody else that you go out of your way to persecute.

So, if you want respect from me, you will have to demonstrate some characteristics worthy of it.
Im doing you a favor getting this out of the way at the very beginning of our interactions.
I could be fake nice to you, then stab you the back!

Unfortunately, you have been groomed to accept fake people as worthy of your time.
You can know that by your rejection of what i have just told you.

It wasnt by being honest with each other, now was it?
