Some flowers bloom perfectly without flaw and others bloom just as beautifully but with repetitive holes on every petal compliments of an insect that needed to feed on that specific flower when it was still a bud.

The holes in our petals are our greatest teachers. - @jaynie

I took the above photo this morning en route to get our daily necessaries, simultaneously contemplating that not everything in life goes the way we want it to and this can have all kinds of repercussions… internally and therefore externally…But that is just the way it is - That is life.

I have spent quite a bit of time being angry today (and the last few weeks if I am completely transparent). Angry because of something which didn’t go the way I thought it would – now I realise that this may sound much like the remark of a spoiled child… but really, it is a lot deeper than that. However, having said that – we don’t always have an outlet for our emotional turmoil. For most of the time in fact… “this” right here… “me writing” IS my outlet!

In order for us to move forwards in life, we need to be able to actually process the things that are holding us back. If we cannot do that one singular thing, we will remain stuck! What I am struggling with right now is precisely that! I am unable to process it because a good portion of it simply doesn’t add up in my mind!!!!!! And if I cannot process something to a point of understanding and acceptance – then please, somebody tell me how the bloody hell, I am supposed to let it go?!

Life is definitely a woman! Haha!!!
She is WAY too dramatic and unpredictable to be a man ;)

Moving along swiftly to a productive week ahead!!!

……

Until next time...
Much Love from Cape Town, South Africa xxx

Love that quote! Thank you @jaichai xoxoxo

Writing is definitely a great outlet and writing on Steemit is even better. The support you get afterwords is way better than having a little personal diary.

Expressing your emotions is very healthy and an absolute must. Good for you for doing that as you take care of yourself and also showing us the way to do it as well.

I know what you mean by being stuck. I haven been stuck for over a year now and as I try to make a breakthrough, I am still held back. Looking for answers and how to's on my part of things. Isn't life just beautiful with all of it's puzzling events? <3

Thank you so much for your encouragement @foxyspirit. It means the world to me!!!!! And yes, life sure is a curious thing indeed.

I think I just had a mini breakthrough last night. I believe if we put it out there and how much we need this break, it will happen. Just push a little more xxx

That is wonderful to hear sweetie!!!!! and you know what - I got that "break" today. Last night, I literally cried with my face in a towel over it all an today it changed.

Beautiful! High 5 to you woman! Woohoo! Cheers to better days! I think I am going to have a drink tonight :p

Mwah!!! Well cheers sweets 🍷

I typed two or three responses and deleted them all. I have ONLY two ways of dealing with internal issues... loud music and exercise!! I seem to resolve or deal with issues best when aching and huffing and puffing down the road. The fact that I am really unfit now is testimony to the fact that I have had a relatively decent 8 years .... or maybe I just listen to more music.

Well I absolutely agree with the music approach @themagus - I think I would completely lost my mind altogether without it. :)

I'm sensing that you could use a hug right now, so I'm sending you a great big one now from across the pond and down to the other hemisphere!

For me if I am ever in a shitty situation that I can't seem to find the solution to, I just focus on what I want the end result to be. I try not to get bogged down with the details of how to get there. I put that out to the Universe. I get so blown away with how fast the results come.

It was indeed a "need a hug" kind of day @rwedegis - so THANK YOU for that :)

And yes, your approach to things is normally mine too - but I guess sometimes we lose the plot ;) lol

Right! Sometimes life can be overwhelming. Especially when we're in the thick of it. It can seem like we're surrounded by mountains and there's no route to the other side. If you're like me and like to figure things out. We get caught up in the details and forget that we have the power within to get the results we want! Turn that anger you are having into positive energy and all will work out!

I like you lecturing me... it reminds me of me lecturing other people :P (in a good way I mean) haha!!! MWAH!

Hahaha! I don't mean to be lecturing! I would much rather be having a conversation over a couple of glasses of wine!

hahahaha!!!!!! I think people NEED to be "lectured" sometimes ;) And we can add wine with PLEASURE! haha - really didnt mean it as a negative... but perhaps that is because I come from a family of opinionated debaters, so we all think its WONDERFUL to "advise" others hahahaha!!! And well, cheers to that!

I would love to join you right now, but it's still a little too early in the day here! I'm still on my second cup of coffee.

hahahahahaha we could continue this series of photos within a photo LOL!!! Enjoy the coffee! :)

Ha, excellent post. Life is a woman ... must be why we call her physical embodiment "Mother Nature." But that insoluble mystery time is a man, and it's brutality is never ending.

There's another poetic line for @quillfire.

@jaynie,

Some flowers bloom perfectly without flaw and others bloom just as beautifully but with repetitive holes on every petal compliments of an insect that needed to feed on that specific flower when it was still a bud.

There's a beautiful poem in that metaphorical insight.

Life is definitely a woman! Haha!!!
She is WAY too dramatic and unpredictable to be a man ;)

I shudder at the thought of what would happen if I said that. Set afire. Harpooned perhaps.

You know, though ... that gives me an idea.

I've noticed that @blockurator is coming out with a bunch of smarty-pants poet things lately ... that's my territory! So ... I write a poor-quality poem (replicating his voice) about the subject-matter to which you allude ... and attribute the whole thing to him.

We'll see where smarty-pants verbosity gets him then ... I'll bet my money on a cohort of women any day. :-)

Quill :-)

Are you saying I write "poor-quality" poetry? Quill, you amuse me!

But I wouldn't bet too much. Betting men tend to lose. :-)

@blockurator,

Just yanking your chain, Ol' Man. Besides, misery loves company and since I'm always in trouble with the gals, for one reason or another, I thought I'd drag you down with me. Call it "professional courtesy." :-)

Baloney aside, I just read your recent article about Steemit development ideas. We should talk. I left my DM contact info on the other article.

Quill

No need to drag me down. I'm lower than you are!

I'll contact you.

Life is definitely a woman! Haha!!!

I feel you on that one. the universe definitely has a maternal energy to it. thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Hehehe she sure does!!! ;) and thanks for dropping by @abmakko :)

Well said. I do agree with you..

Thanks :)

Esa es la mejor frase que he leido "Debemos ser capaces de procesar realmente las cosas que nos estan deteniendo." Saludos @jaynie

Realmente me alegro de que te haya gustado. Gracias!

howdy this fine Sunday to ya! Life is definitely a woman. I have never heard of that before but it DOES make sense!

hehehe yip! ;)

Life is... fickle, unpredictable... and just when you think it's going in the direction you had planned, "something" sends it careening somewhere else.

In a sense, I guess life is the greatest teacher of the Buddhist tenet of "non-attachment." By all means, let's hope, but let us not expect.

Processing matters... otherwise we end up like a champagne bottle that has been shaken, and we will POP at the most inopportune time. And usually rain fury down on people who don't deserve it, simply because they happened to be standing there. And processing takes about as long as it takes... maybe that sounds like a cop-out, but some things are harder to move past than others.

And when it looks overwhelming? I remember the words of one of my Teachers, from many years back: "The way to eat an elephant... is one bite at a time." That's a metaphor, of course. I don't eat elephants... :p

hehehehe at the eating elephants @denmarkguy lol ;)

Thank you for the gentle encouragement - I needed it yesterday. Today I think I managed to process just a little bite ;)

otherwise we end up like a champagne bottle that has been shaken, and we will POP at the most inopportune time.

Love that!!! So true!!!

"And processing takes about as long as it takes... " ..... extremely well put.

Agreed! @denmarkguy is fabulous that way :)

Hang in there, Jaynie. Things will eventually work out ok. You're just too sweet a person for any other outcome to come your way. Have a beautiful day and God bless!

Thank you so much @mepatriot. HUGS!!! :)

Backatcha, sis....

Hey @jaynie, I hope that you will be able to process the stuff soonest so that you can move on. Praying for you that this tough time will pass and I love the way you said: "to move on to a productive week ahead!" So much energy and optimism!

Thank you so much hon xoxoxoxo
