Today, I was finally able to get my kids enrolled in a homeschool program. I posted the other day about getting worried that I would miss this quarter's enrollment, but thankfully, I found my university transcript of records in time (last day of enrollment is this coming Friday).
I had to sign a "commitment" form, sumbit all the necessary requirements, paid the whole year's tuition, purchase the needed textbooks and workbooks, and all done! I even managed to avoid the dreadful rush-hour traffic and got home juat before 5PM.
I guess we're really commited to this now. Or at least I am. My kids, so far are ageeable. That's a good start, right? 😄
I really think this is going to be a good thing.

I'm not too familiar with home schooling, do you still have to buy textbooks for the kids?

Im not sure about how other homeschool programs work, but for the one we chose, there is still a set curriculum that we have to follow and yes, textbooks are required.
