Ulog: Metaphorical Lemonade

I’ve been making metaphorical lemonade for days now.

My latest pitcher is admiring the newness of my brand new windows and screens.

The sunset is that much more beautiful through brand new windows.

I can press my face into the screen and not wonder if the previous tenant let their cat lien against it (you just can’t get cat off of stuff no matter how hard you try).

Thank you God for making my last days at this apartment that much more comfortable.

I am still waiting for a final approval for my home, I am feeling really nervous - but praying a lot harder, and knowing that the “time to act” is right around the corner. Because I can’t stay in limbo forever. There are time limits on these contracts.

And I keep moving forward. Still writing. I even let myself pay for a writing group that teaches you how to make a living off your writing.

My words will pay off my mortgage.

I will succeed.

I am already succeeding.

My success will be more tangible.
