Good evening guys. Since this would be my first post here for the day, it is custom for me to declare the day as blessed and write about something I am grateful for. Today I am grateful my phone is intact.
Yesterday I almost had a brief heart attack. LOL, not the kind of heart attack that comes with the sickness itself but the type that comes when you touch your pocket and know that your phone is gone.
I visited the place I usually go to when I have a job to do with my laptop that might require electrical power. After working for a few hours, I had a friend visit me towards the time I considered as closing period. So I was about packing when he came and we discussed a bit while I continued packing my properties into my backpack. Of course the discussion was interesting- we were talking about leaving the country in search of greener pastures. It was interesting.
After he had escorted me to the main entrance of the building, we greeted goodbye and I boarded a vehicle to head home. It a habit for me to play music with my headset during a long journey after a rough day but I discovered my phone was nowhere to be found. I had to command the vehicle to a halt and started a search party. I was really worried because it looked like ‘jazz’. I was somehow sure I packed all my properties from my ‘work station’, how the hell did my phone get missing?
It even became scarier when we called my phone and it was switched off. Jesus Christ! A phone I was just using not up to 3 minutes ago? Yes, I almost ran mad.
Long story cut short, I ran back to where I came from since I hadn’t spent up to 3 minutes in that vehicle. I was quick to notice the absence of my phone. Glory be to God, I ran back to meet my phone just where I plugged it to charge. It occurred that I was carried away by the discussion I had with my friend that I forgot that I had plugged my phone to charge. Did you enjoy this story? So that’s it for today guys. Today I am grateful that this post isn’t a sorrowful epistle of how I misplaced my phone to jazz, voodoo or whatever the case might be. I am still grateful about being the owner of this phone. I don’t have plans to get a new one soon LOL
