I don't know about others out there, but when I am doing something I often catch myself saying out aloud what I am thinking.
Especially when it is something that is being done on a PC.
Why?
idk.
But I do it.
When I thought a little about it the thought came to mind that it is a way that I can double check myself when doing some things.
I hear me say it, the mind has to go over it again and hence the work is double checked.
When doing something and not saying my thoughts out aloud I often make many little mistakes or I leave words out when typing etc etc etc.
When I say then out aloud, I find that these types of little errors are fewer.
So maybe I should do this more often as it obviously helps in what I am doing.
Now that I have shared this little quirk of mine, I was wondering if anyone else out there does this too?
If so, feel free to share it with me, either in a comment or via a direct message on Discord.
Don't stress, I won't tell.
Call me SGT SCHULTZ!
Whatever the case may be, if anyone does or doesn't come back to me on this, it seems to work for me, so I will probably start doing it more often!
& maybe I am going crazy, talking to myself and all!
Cheers.
Yours truly,
@jackmiller
