1)get your head together:to get one's thoughts or attitude properly organized 整理思绪;冷静一下

例句:The office manager had a family bereavement and didn't feel up to work. "I think I need to take some time off to get my head together."

2)play to the gallary:哗众取宠
Here goes another short poem for you packed with some Shakespere idioms.

Change sth, add sth and we will have a better one.

3)take it as read(that...):to consider sth. not worth discussing 姑且以为;想当然地以为
例句:
I will take it as read that everybody knows how to play this simple game.
我会想当然地以为人人都会玩这个简单游戏。

4)play along with:you act as if you believe it even though you don't 假意附和;to let sth. run its course without saying no and see what happens, but I don't believe this at all 任其自生自灭观望中

例句:a)It is a good idea to play along with the schizophrenics' delusions.

b)I don't like fishing but I play along with my boss because I want promotion.
我不喜欢钓鱼,但为了升职,我还是陪老板一起钓鱼。

5)rub off onto:感染,沾上
例句:If you surround yourself with positive people, their energy will rub off onto you.
如果你和积极的人相处,他们的正能量也会传递给你。

I spend a lot of time with him becauseI hope his luck will rub off onto me.
