Good to catch the late afternoon sun today, it was a wonder to me just looking at it. The far view of the setting sun, the golden hue casted in the sky is so breath taking. It doesn't have to be in a luxurious village or white sand beach, a humble farm land is enough. We all see the same beautiful sunset wherever we are. It is just in the frame of mind. This is what I had been reminding myself as I was walking down the ricefield on my way home. I do miss the other part of this community which is more brighter with lots of city lights but I could not dwell on that thought. This is my choice and this is where I am now. I love it in here with my whole family. Living a simple and humble but contented life.
As I walk pass this stream I saw it is rich with life. There were crawling insects, fish, tadpoles etc. I said to myself no one is looking after them. Where do they get sustenance no one is maintaining the stream but they look happy as they swim up and down the water. I realized indeed life is what you make out of it. There is no point in comparing your life with other people as it only would make you resent what you have. Everyone has his own journey and I chose this. It pays to be away and be quiet for a brief moment.
