It's Been A While, Asthma... (Ulog Day 88)

Ever since I was born, I'm already asthmatic. It's hereditary in my case, since it's common in my father's side. Good thing for me, because I can treat it simply by taking oral medication. I need not have a nebulizer at home, or the pump medication or metered dose inhalers.

I got my first asthma attack in a while last Sunday. I thought it was tolerable, so I went on with my work... but after my morning classes, it was kind of difficult for me to breathe already. I decided to take my medicine after lunch, and the side effects were worse than I imagined. It's still tolerable, but I decided to cancel my lessons that afternoon. (Goodbye incentives! Hello penalties!)

Yesterday, I tried to survive my classes without canceling them. I have closed the other classes the day before, so there were only 8-9 classes left. It was a struggle, actually. I didn't drink my asthma meds yesterday because I was kind of scared of the effects... so I just took some mucolytics and paracetamol because I was also feverish... xD

Today, I decided to take the day off. Hopefully, I'd get better so I could work again tomorrow... my bills are threatening, as well as the other debts.. hahahah.. xD Ohh life... so difficult, yet beautiful.

Have a great one! :)

Aww, that sucks. I hope it doesn't happen again. I'm asthmatic too, but only if I try to do cardio type exercises.

That's true... but I'm feeling better now... I could probably work again tomorrow.. 😁

Try the lagundi brew as apparently it's a bronchodilator. Have a read if it's beneficial for u. Swimming too is a goos exercise for asthmatics. cheers!

Thank you! <3

Oh no hope you’re feeling better now and have a good med to get you through!
