Adventure of the Day #1

I'm glad to hear that you have lots of potential inspiration. Sometimes it's just having a pile of stuff from which to choose.

Sorry, I promise that I haven't been ignoring you. I've just been busy doing other things. This next week might be better for making the rounds, but then I know I'll be slowing down again following that. It just depends on what I have going on.

Yeah, I don't really share a lot about what I do. It's just how I am. I was never big into Twitter and all that nonsense. People don't need to know when I sneeze or where I'm going. I won't even install the insurance apps on my phone to get lower rates... and I would.

I recently restarted the Count of Monte Cristo. It's one of my favorite books and I haven't read it in a while, so I'm looking forward to that taking more of my time for a while. I'm not a fast reader, so I can enjoy a book for days and days.

Is there a specific reason that you don't like Chick-fil-a?

  • You have a bad experience?
  • Just weren't that impressed?
  • Don't like chicken?
  • Don't like how they do chicken?
  • Don't want to eat chicken if you weren't able to see where it was raised and subsequently killed?
  • Prefer to cook it yourself?
  • Prefer to have your wife cook it herself?
  • You just don't like the name?
  • You're mad they're closed on Sunday because you own shares in the company and want to get more profit from them being open another day per week?
  • You think they should also be open on not-yet-created-day called Glensday which would actually be the eighth day per week? You are afraid of chickens because of the impending #ChickenFrogalypse?
  • You owe money to a man who once owned a chicken restaurant, but he was a jerk and you want to make sure that he never gets paid back, so you won't eat at any restaurant that serves chicken on the off-chance that the one you eat at could be his and that by eating there you would be repaying the loan and making good/providing sustainable to a horrible man whom you have sworn you would never repay or abet?

My money is on the last one.
