Today is particularly awesome not because I got the first prize of a competition.
No.
I managed to sleep 4 hours and I am very awake. I always tell myself that I have to sleep 4 hours.
But I end up sleeping 10 hours. Now that I have allocated 8 hours for sleep, I can sleep 4 and wake up just fine.
That's the funny thing.
I have tried so hard to get less sleep but end up getting so much more.
Now that I am aiming to chill and give myself more time without stressing out, I end up getting what I want. This lesson is good for me as I apply it other areas of life mainly earning a living.
Games Night
Last night we had our first games night. I was frustrated because I asked BabyBoo to choose games with me and she ended up doing something else, as if she didn't hear me.
From this I just have to be positive and somehow be able to control my emotions. The thing is I need to be thinking of how to take things well on my side and not get frustrated when someone doesn't respond the way we want them to be doing.
At first, I thought she is making me angry or mad. That she is making me look older.
But later on, I figured that I just have to learn to laugh about it and look at the brighter side of things.
Hey!
If she doesn't choose, I will just choose myself. No biggie.
We played Life is Strange 2. Found it so slow that we changed the game to The Outer Worlds.
That was proven to be a good change. We are also going to play this game for quite some time.
I blasted out all the promotion posts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We managed to garner 1 viewer.
I have to be hopeful that we will improve.
It is what we think that will make us who we are going to be.
Yes it is disappointing and if we go on this curve into the future we are not going anywhere.
I just have to be hopeful.
We are in it for the long haul. So I just have to keep believing.
