ULOG #13: The Perks of Being a TEACHER! I Guess I Am Going to Have A Long Night

Being a teacher is never easy. It requires a lot of efforts, time, dedication and even that burning passion for you to be able to touch the hearts, shape the minds and change the lives of every pupil you have.

As the opening of classes is fast approaching, teachers need to do many things to prepare the learning environment.

Look, I have listed all the things that I need to accomplish tonight. I guess I will really have a very long night since I can't work during the day because of my kids.

Having a to-do list has already been a part of my rourine as a teacher. It helps me in making my works organized and easy to monitor. So whenever I have many things to do, I always have my list at home and at school.

For tonight, I have to print many pictures, border designs, cut them, mount them on the colored papers and cover each of them with acetate. I have already prepared all the materials that I am going to use for tonight.

I need to finish all these works all by myself. I don't have a helper as of this moment so I really need to work hard and fast.

All these stuffs that I will be making will be used to decorate my classroom.

A classroom should have a friendly and homey environment. We need to make it look attractive for the children to be more motivated in coming to school.

Aside from this fact, teachers are also rated with our classroom. Every June, all school heads will conduct a classroom evaluation in all classrooms all over our district/municipality. This rating will be used as an evidence for our performance rating every end of school year.

So, I really have to work, work, work, work and work hard.

I have lots to do tonight. And these will not be done with my phone in my hand. lol. So, it's time for me to work now.

That would be all for now as I will be so busy as a bee.
