Increasing Unemployment - Reasons and Analysis

in unemployment •  6 years ago

Every person aspires for a job as he/she completes his/her education. A secured job is a what everyone desires.
But in the last decade what has increased manifolds is Unemployment. The reason for it being saturation in a particular field.

Our generation is running an absolute rat race where everyone wants to run the same race that the other person is running in.

Despite of the fact that there are many sectors providing ample job opportunities, our generation especially in India is absolutely either into Engineering or Medical studies.
Fields like law, general science, agriculture, finance, management studies are so well developed but not many people persue this. Jobs in this field are well paying too.
But saturation of candidates in a particular field leads to hardcore competition and eventually unemployment of those who are not that well off in studies.

Various private institutions also in the name of fame and money tempt the students to take admission providing guarantee of 100% placement but these students actually don't go through 100% placement and even if some of them go, they are layed off later depending on their performance in the growth of the company. In medical studies too, maximum participation is leading to increase in the level of questions being set that is leading to the students dropping to prepare for the exams the next year and eventually wasting their years if they don't qualify.
This leads to insufficient educational qualification even to apply for jobs at times and eventually unemployment.
