جامعة يابانية تعتذر عن التلاعب في درجات قبول الطالبات

اعتذرت إحدى أعرق الجامعات الطبية في اليابان عن التلاعب في درجات اختبارات القبول لتقليل نسبة الطالبات بالجامعة.

ووجد تحقيق داخلي أن جامعة طوكيو الطبية كانت تتلاعب بدرجات اختبارات الإناث منذ عام 2006.

كما قللت الجامعة درجات المتقدمين الذكور الذين خضعوا لاختبار الدخول أربع مرات على الأقل.

وقالت الجامعة إنه لم يكن يتعين عليها التلاعب بالدرجات مطلقا.

كما اعترفت بإضافة نقاط إضافية إلى عشرات الطلاب الذين قدموا تبرعات للجامعةقال تيتسو يوكيوكا، المدير التنفيذي لجامعة طوكيو الطبية، في مؤتمر صحفي يوم الثلاثاء: "لقد خُنا ثقة العامة، ونريد بكل صدق أن نعتذر عن ذلك".

كما تعهد كيسوكي ميازاوا ، نائب رئيس الجامعة، بأن اختبارات القبول في العام المقبل ستكون نزيهة.

     A Japanese university apologizes for the manipulation of students' degrees of acceptance

One of the oldest medical universities in Japan has apologized for manipulating admission test grades to reduce the proportion of university students.

An internal investigation found that Tokyo Medical University had been manipulating female test scores since 2006.

The university also reduced the scores of male applicants who had been tested at least four times.

The university said it had never had to manipulate grades.

She also recognized the addition of additional points to dozens of students who made contributions to the university.
"We have betrayed public confidence, and we sincerely want to apologize for that," Tetsu Yukioka, chief executive of Tokyo Medical University, told a news conference on Tuesday.

Kisuki Miyazawa, vice-president of the university, also promised that next year's admission tests would be fair.
