Eishah expelled from university
Chhatra League BCL President Iffat Jahan Esa was expelled from Dhaka University on charges of torturing three students of Dhaka University's Sufia Kamal Hall.
On 10th April, the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md. Akhtaruzzaman told reporters, 'Iffat was expelled from the university. On Wednesday the formalities of the expulsion process will be completed. '
As protesters protested for the reform of the quota, thousands of students of Dhaka University's Sufia Kamal Hall protested against the torture of the students of BCL BCL BCL President Iffat Jahan demanded to expel at midnight in the hall took place outside.
This incident occurs on Tuesday, April 10 at around 12pm on Tuesday. This news spreads to social media on Facebook. Many people protested by sharing the bloody foot, sandal and floor pictures of the injured student on Facebook. Angry students live from the site on Facebook. The video spreads very quickly. When the students protested at around 1pm, the provost Sabika Rezwana and Proctor of the University AKM Golam Rabbani. After one and a half hours, the proctor said, the authorities have decided to expel Esha from the hall.
Esha was expelled from BCL in the incident. At the same time, a notification issued by the central Chhatra League president Saifur Rahman Suhag and general secretary SM Zakir Hossain said that iffat Jahan has been expelled from the executive committee's decision to break the party discipline.
