The Crypto Show hit SXSW armed with Dash and food for the homeless. We find this to be a great way to counteract the negative image of crypto currency. While "The Lame Stream Media" can only publish stories of dark markets and drug dealing we take it in another direction by feeding the homeless. This is an effort inspired by Jason king and Unsung.org
Through our sponsorship of The Crypto Show by Dash.org we've had amazing success feeding thousands of people already in multiple cities including Seattle, Miami, Acapulco and Austin. For this years SXSW 2017 we decided to try to get the crowd involved. We set up shop right in the middle of one of the busiest intersections of SXSW with hundreds of meals for the homeless. As passersby would stop and ask what we were giving away we would tell them that it's a meal for the homeless and would they please hand off the meal to the next homeless person they see. To incentivize people we offered a couple of bucks in Dash which of course led to a lot of new wallets. This turned out to be a great tactic because we were able to reach a lot of people that would have never even heard of crypto and their first experience is of course feeding the homeless so it's a positive experience win-win all the way .
