IMAGINE MY LIFE WITHOUT STEEMIT

A lot of things have happened this week, the stress has been intense - combining school work, social life, family and STEEMIT. True - Steemit has taken a large percentage of my time (I have to do a lot of time management to get other things done), but it has also had a influence on other aspects of life. It s a weekend, and something just struck my mind - WHAT WOULD MY LIFE BE WITHOUT STEEMIT?.

I will be plain enough to say that I was really dependent and I had a shallow way of thinking. Because of the kind of environment and atmosphere in which I was trained as a child, I believed that going to school and graduating with a first class was the ultimate. Now growing older and seeing that things were not as smooth as I imagined them to be, I got discouraged. Just in case my parents weren't buoyant enough to send me abroad, or maybe something came up - I already planned an average life in my little head. The plan was just to finish school, settle down with someone who was at least comfortable and we would start from scratch like my parents did. At that time, anything that had to do with making money online was a crime and I wouldn't even want to know about it. This was what took me so long to join Steemit even after I had seen @samstickkz posts countless times on Facebook about how genuine it was.

I later on discovered that you didn't have to invest anything to join the platform and I guess that was what pushed me to join...it was a social media, just like facebook and after all, i had nothing to lose.

I joined Steemit on the 28th of October...and since then I am no longer that girl.

THE ME RIGHT NOW - Amazing!!

I have grown from that naive, dumb and shallow-brain girl to well.....you know what it is (LOL).
I'll forever remain grateful to @samstickkz for introducing me to this platform and for the support and love. I'm so grateful..
There are also some people I would like to acknowledge because my steemit story would be incomplete.
@prechi, @ewuoso, @ifioklee, @samuelwealth, @ajremy, @evelyniroh, @amec, @ishotz, @xpressng, @ungest, @ubongj, @bundis10, @giftessiet, and so many others too many to mention. You guys are amazing.
