So many people complain about high unemployment rate in Nigeria when you can easily monetize your talents and create a job for yourself

As an undergraduate, I learnt how to do so many things that are outside my field of study instead of waiting for government jobs that may not come soon. If you read my previous post I explained how to make a local Inverter even though I'm not in electronic field.

I keep on learning how to do so many things so that I will not be roaming the street when a job is not forthcoming after school. Part of the things I learnt are how to make shoes and bags. Other things I learnt is software installation, how to repair phones and laptops

The Interesting part of the story is that I never attended any school to learn these things. When I was growing up, I was very inquisitive and was always willing to learn new things, especially when I see someone doing something I have no knowledge about.

I will pay rapt attention to learn and add to my skills, and with this, I know my future is secured. I still keep on developing myself and I want you to know that there are also other countless things I can do.

My reason for saying this is not to brag to anyone but to encourage my fellow youth to develop themselves so that they can lay their hands on something that will bring food to the table and create jobs for themselves.

Below are the samples of the shoes I made recently.. I don't want to bore you or go into much details on how I made them, but I will try as much as I can to summarize it and show you pictures of how I made them

Below are the list of my tools

  • Marking oen
  • Punch
  • Knife
  • Two pairs of Scissor
  • Hammer
  • My marking pen
  • Filing machine

Other things included for making shoes include

  • Different shoes patterns
    *Gum
  • Different sizes.
  • Different shapes and colors

(a) The first thing I did to my design was to sketch them out on a paper. After that, I marked them with a pencil according to the size of the person I'm making the shoe for

I marked them out, cut and sew them with my sewing machine

After that, I created a point at the top end where my toes and legs will fit it properly.. Then I marked them and sew the tops of my pattern, then I used gum to finish the process

There are so many things guys can lay their hands on that will bring food to the table for them. Also remember that there's nothing you can't do if you believe in yourself and humble yourself to learn from people

Thank you for reading

I hope this makes sense to someone

Baba @tosyne2much.
Last time you made an inverter and now you're making shoes. Your creativity knows no bounds, keep up the good work.

You're right about school not teaching you what your really need to succeed in life. What came out of all the endless x,y,z in maths.

If had discovered steemit when it launched, the thought of going to University would probably have been crossed out of my checklist.

Hahaha! The last paragraph sounds very funny 😀😀

Wow ! I liked it. All these sandals and shoes are looking so good.

Nice creativity

Thank you very much sir

I don't have such thing that you call me sir.
