First Aid Kit Upfundme Week 17

in upfundme •  5 years ago

Hi Steem fam, it's time for another exciting edition of Phoenix Holds Out His Hat To Fund His First Aid Kit So He Can Help Others. Last week's post paid out, so here's the math:

25 cents in Steem
101.59695305 UFM @ 0.001 cents/UFM = 10 cents
0.533 PAL @ .014 cents/PAL = .007 cents (so, moot)
22.401 Steem from @shanibeer – thank you!! - @ 13 cents/Steem = $2.91
==============================================================
$3.26 for the week + $5.77 from the previous two weeks = $9.03 total toward $26 goal, so $16.97 to go!

An extra special thank you to Shanibeer, without whom I would never be so far in building my first aid kit! Thank you so much for all your help. You are amazing and I appreciate you. <3

These are the two things that comprise the $26 goal for this round, N95 masks and a tourniquet:

The kit is almost complete! So close to the end! Woohoo! :)

A friendly reminder to check out and enter my Kindest Night of the Year Challenge, a chance to win SBI, dustsweeper credit, and donations to Steem-funded charities just by doing kind deeds! The deadline is midnight on the solstice.

Thanks again for any upvotes and donations to help me get my first aid kit together! I appreciate y'all!

🎄 glad it's going so well. I'm on my holidays now until the new year. Hope you have a wonderful midwinter celebration and see you in 2020.
Ps won't be able to post for your kindest night, but:

  • the butcher gave me a tangerine because I was in the shop when an old feller was reminiscing about christmases past when he got a tangerine and some chocolate in his stocking (the old feller got one, too).
  • the repair man reset and oiled my garden shears for nothing because "it's christmas" and "come back if you get any more problems."
  • my accountant said, "don't worry, I'll find an envelope and post it for you."

In spite of the terrible politics around, I'm heartened by the many and constant small kindnesses that people give each other every day.

Happy holidays to you! And thank you for sharing those stories - I love hearing about acts of kindness! <3 I'm so glad you have kind people around you.

You know what?
We have two young women living a few doors away. Last night, one came and knocked on the door with a plate of dinner she had cooked! They're moving at the beginning of January, I am so sorry.
I hope you have kind people around you, yoo.

Wow, that is awesome!!

Oh no! Sorry I missed last week. Let's see if we can do a better job this week. It is nearly Christmas after all.

Thanks for your support! And a happy Christmas to you. :)
