Self-discipline

The five pillar self -discipline are: Acceptance, Willpower, Hard work, industry, and persistence. If you take the first letter of each word, you get the acronym "A WHIP" - a convenient way to remember them, since many people associate self-discipline with whipping themselves into shape.

Self-discipline is the ability to get yourself to take action regardless of your emotional state.

Self-discipline is one of many personal development tools available to us. Of course it is not a panacea. Nevertheless, the problems which self-discipline can solve are important, and while there other ways to solve these problems, self-discipline can empower you to overcome any addition or lose any amount of weight. It can wipe out procrastination, disorder, and ignorance. Within the domain of problems it can solve, self-discipline is simply unmatched.

My philosophy of how to build self-discipline is best explained by an analogy. Self-discipline is like a muscle. The more you train it, the stronger you become. The less you train it, the weaker it become.

Just as everyone has different muscular strength, we all possess different levels of self -discipline. Everyone has some -if you can hold your breath a few seconds, you have some self-discipline. But not everyone has developed their discipline to the same degree.

The basic method to build self-discipline is to tackle challenges that you can successfully accomplish but which are near your limit. This doesn't mean trying something and failing at it everyday, not does it mean staying within your comfort zone. You will gain no strength trying to lift a weight that you cannot budge, nor will you gain strength lifting weights that are too light for you. You must start with weights/challenges that are within your current ability to lift but which are near your limit.

Progressive training means that once you succeed, you increase the challenge. If you keep working out with the same weights, you won't get any stronger. Similarly, if you fail to challenge yourself in life, you won't gain any more self-discipline.

There's no shame in starting where you are. If you're very undisciplined right now, you can still use what little discipline you have to build more. The more disciplined you become, the easier life gets. Challenges that were once impossible for you will eventually seem like a child's play. As you stronger, the same weights will seem lighter and lighter

Thanks for Your beautiful explanation about self-discipline...

Desire, certainly a lot of things that I want. But speaking here, it's better about steemit. To be frank, I'd love to grow, have a good reputation in steemit. From a plankton, minnow, then to a whale or to something higher than that. I also want to get an upvote of great value for each piece I publish through #steemit. Of course, for good works, not the result of plagiarism or barely adaptations.

But I realize, if the desire itself will be difficult to materialize. Besides I do not have enough money to invest here, busy also makes me a little late in updating and accessing my own blog page. These two things I guess that my development and reputation are not good enough. And I'd love to be active. Because of course only actively, the reasons for the absence of funds to invest in steemit can be resolved.

Seeing the reasons above, of course will arise a question, do I just expect rewards when joining in steemit? Certainly not. From the very beginning the embedded join in my mind was just a matter of how my work was published, the network of friends increased, found a new discussion room, and new knowledge and experience about #blockchain and #cryptocurrency increased.

Problem getting a high upvote I think it's just a bonus. Bonus or reward for the work is considered reasonable is reasonable. If there's no upvote - because the above goal is pretty clear - there's no disappointment here.

Then why do I want to be a whale?

In my area #aceh, the number of steemit users is so great. Though I do not know how total, but surely it is real. The proof can you look at the tagar that appears on the left side of your feed. Whale has the power to help, just like you @tatjanastan. By helping each other we can grow fellow and make this platform bigger.

If there is a chance, anyone who reads this, try to visit my blog @ocxie. I'm still a new person, but have a big dream here. Sorry if there is anything less amenable to the wishes that I'm telling you.

Warm regards

Ocxie

I see a lot questions about what crypto's to buy and I feel that people want easy answers for it. I am sorry to say that there is no easy answer but research, research and more research.
I am no professional investor but I do follow some basic guidelines. Before you invest your time researching and reading their white paper you obviously would first and foremost want to know if it is even a genuine coin on the blockchain. Before delving into the technicalities of a cryptocurrency, I want to know a few things first.

Why does the coin exist?
Call it their aim, goal or whatever their official statement is. Read it on their website or checkout their videos.

Development Team
The people on the team and obviously their qualification is a must know for a serious investor. You may also want to look into their previous achievements and experience. Size of the team also matters. Look at the numbers – too small a team for too big a project is going to struggle to deliver, no matter the greatness of the idea behind them.

Community
You guys probably know more about this than me. What I usually do is to check their website, Twitter and Reddit pages. How many followers do they have? Would the community hold when fudding begins? Are radical enough to stand their ground against some crazy whale action?
You can get a basic idea about it when you start to read their tweets, social media comments, posts, etc. and I am not talking just about the recent stuff. Scroll down like crazy and go to their genesis point and read older comments and posts as well.

Recent community participation
I mention this separately because a lot of newer coins with smaller communities are much more active in marketing then the older and established coins.
My outlook is – Older and secure is for storage & newer and energetic for growth. Check out how much noise they make? How much tweeting/redditing are they doing? Do they have a lot of trolls – trolls might not be good for short term, but they have a certain energetic effect on the prices (I am hoping for the positive and preparing for the worst….)

Graphs and Projections
Boooooorrrrrriiiinnngggggg! Meh! Don’t want to go into it (I am not the best guy for this either). So please do it yourself.

Spend a couple of hours behind the screen. Hell, even spend just a few minutes. Do some initial ground work so you get to know that at least what you are looking at is not a scam. The truth is that there might not be a sure shot way to tell a scam from a genuine crypto until the D day arrives. So the only thing you can do is your due diligence.

Crypto currencies are well chosen topic...cool...
