Hi,
It's hot in middle England, I can't quite believe it Sunny Jim...
Before this morning's lengthy country run I made sure of a good breakfast, consisting of; homemade rhubarb jam (my fella's amazing mum's gift to us today) and delicious homemade marmalade too (Al's gorgeous sister gifted to us last week), on granary toast with lashings of butter and the customary kick ass cwoffeeee.
After which, I escaped up to a place called Sheephill, where I find solace and serious sunshine today.
I also saw one of the farmers en route, who took one look at my beetroot face and asked me if I would care for a glass of water. I said it was OK as I am ten minutes from home where a chilled bucks fizz awaits, I kid you not. Cheers!! "You only live once and it's no dress rehearsal, Dorothy". Aprovecha el momento as the Spanish say.
The farmer then said; "Should I have said 'a pint' instead?" In which case, I may have taken him and his wife up on that - the lager lout within never misses a moment to enjoy life, with the pub only being five minutes away. Everything within reason. :)
Today my five year old daughter is being taken to Crich Tram Museum by grandparents... Not my parents as they are shit, but Al's lovely ones.
Before she went we made a fresh banana spice cake! Nom nom.
My teenage son (18yrs) has now been away for three weeks at his dad's big hooos - as you see here...
Where he is working on the land there and my tweenager (13yrs) is @home, making fresh lemon sorbet. Domestic bliss of sorts, as I'm chilling in the garden doing eff all. Which is great, as I have a whole summer to fill with kiddy-care. I know peeps can relate to this and I see my awesome Novia Scotia buddy Lyndsay Bowes is doing an amazing job of being cool and cool and more f cool. <3<3
Here is Orlando making fresh lemon sorbet.
After summer I resume my third year law studies ~ where I intend to smash a FIRST again, because any knob can do well in law if you just read and remember it. Including me, lol. I remain healthily humble and will only know law and practice it to help those who wouldn't normally have have access to it [justice].
I went to the Crown Court last week, where I shall be working one day a week from now on, helping witnesses on live trials understand the whole process and do their best performance. I pride myself on being able to talk to and help everyone where I can. No discrimination here!!
Bye for now, have a lovely day. Xx
Wowweeeee, what's this, making a patio? Looks great!
And LOL to beetroot face hahahhaaaa, I get that too, even with light exercise lmao!!! Enjoy the day without the little one!! Great to see you here posting!

I really wish I had more time to post on here and sack FB off!! The bonfire base my son is building is four metres wide and apparently too low according to his step mum - boo! (Can feel pantomime coming on lol)
I am very inspired by what you write LyndsayBobs and only wish I wasn't so frikkin distant, so I could hassle you for some free eggs in exchange for banana cake, which I am about to add to the post, as I forgot I made that earlier with kiddo number three.
Oof, or rather - oeuf. <3
