I consider myself an Independent and watched the Hearings with some expectation of a result. Not a chance!
What I saw and heard was a whole lot of 'I felt' the President meant such. I did not see or hear any factual evidence of a crime, neither less impropriety. Yet it will still be pushed to a trial.
First question is why? To come to trial there has to be a crime. One has been proven to happen.
Next is why? Why is this going any further? There is no legal cause to continue.
In my opinion any continuation of this not only wastes money, yet more seriously the time of our elected leaders. There are more important issues that require attention and solution to. Any further time and especially money wasted should be the responsibility and cost of the DNC. Why on earth they would promote such wasted expenditures on the eve of the next election and not gather up the troops and deliver some real changes, like now.
If the DNC wishes to sway my next vote, they need to change their strategy from attack of present government and actually start doing some real work to change what they believe is broken.
