President Trump has railed against President Obama, Democrats in general, the FBI and Oprah Winfrey since the Justice Department indicted 13 Russian nationals for trying to tamper with the U.S. election.
One thing he hasn’t criticized: Russia.
Notably absent from the commander-in-chief’s weekend Twitter frenzy was a response to the Kremlin’s alleged efforts to influence America’s free and fair elections.
Special counsel Robert Mueller’s office on Friday accused the Russians, as well as several companies, of launching a misinformation campaign to sway voters to outsider candidates such as Trump, Sen. Bernie Sanders and Jill Stein.
While he didn’t directly admonish Moscow’s actions, he said it proved his campaign didn’t collude with Russia to win the election, which Mueller is also investigating.
The White House didn’t immediately return a request for comment.
