A Long Tale Told Short: You See, I See

What You see.
I have no idea what you see, really. It would be fun to know what your first impressions are. So, please, go to the comments now and tell me what you believe you see and then come back and read. It's not a test. There's not a right or wrong. I'm just super curious.

Okay now I will tell you what you sre looking at.

You are looking at a 3D rendering of a little island in Second Life. It was ours (for as long as we paid the bills). We named it Adelebsen Isle because one of our friends was from Adelebsen, Germany. This was our second rendition of this little village. In the first rendition, I found her one day sitting on the playground (that you can't see) and she admitted that when she was home sick she would come and sit in the playground area because we had somehow managed to capture the feel of the hills around Adelebsen. Well, I know homesick people can be reminded of home by the smallest of hints but when it came time to name the second rendition, I couldn't think of a better joy.

What I see.
I see a heap load of collaboration.
I see the wings of the dragon that caused the ruckus that paved the way for us to have our own little island.
The land shaping (terra forming) took three people. One teaching two rookies.
There are elements, objects, structures, made by about 10 main designers and easily 50 others in small decorative touches.
There are textures made by at least two dozen designers.
Side Note
Most of the designers had no idea where their work was being used. Purchasing the structures and textures is like, well like how photo and illustration stock is available for purchase by graphic designers (like @daddykirbs). By the end of the 5 years, I was experiencing inventory issues. It probably goes hand in hand with being a Loew's addict or an art supply addict.
After awhile, some designers started tossing "test samples" to me so they could get my critique before taking it to market rather than after it was on the shelf. Yeah. Testing and critiquing (and curating) is me. Everywhere

I see all the fun of arranging and rearranging all the little pieces
More fun than a doll house
More fun than a miniature village
Walking, Sitting, Camming about to find the right place to put the right thing to create the best "atmosphere"
Sometimes I had help
A lot of the time I uh ran the help off. I couldn't always get them to do it the right way.
I see @mitchmiester planning and working and creating the Castle Area, "Dance Mountain", and the "Tiny Area."
I see the shop buildings that I restructured so many times.
Side Note:
The original designer would have been pleased. He eventually released just the textures and I was able to stop ripping his buildings apart and just build my own structures and put his textures over them.
What does that mean? You see how the buildings look like they have "half timber" walls and windows etc? Those walls are really just flat images and they are applied to a "block". In the old days of SL, we literally built with blocks and spheres and yeah. Basically, imagine the whole world around you as just structures wrapped in images called "textures". That's this.

I see learning to be a manager of a "mall"
I see all the people who ever rented a shop from me.
I see helping others learn to market their wares.
I see seasonal markets held in the main square.
I see some people who made enough in their tiny little shop in my "mall" to cover all the expense of all the other places they were expected to be but were not profiting!

I see Life
I see people in human avatars
I see people in all sorts of fanciful avatars
I see people as "Tinies," little animal avatars
I see people, in their avatars
walking through my art
sitting on my art
dancing in my art
falling in love in my art (no that's not a typo)
having weddings in my art
calling my art piece their home

I See Controlling the Day
Set the sun and the moon in the sky
Color the sky and the water
Hang clouds where I wish, sparse or thick
Call in or banish the haze
I see a little blessing I was blessed with for about five years.
For anyone who is confused. Yes. All of this happened in pixels and PC's. Yes. A lot like Steemit and CryptoCurrency.

This is the longest I See, You See that I have done in quite awhile. All the same, you'll have to trust me that this is the The Long Tale told Short!
