Pickles for STEEMIT peoples

Tell a simple and affordable recipe for pickling cucumbers.

Ukrainians love to pickle and preserve all possible vegetables and fruits. But the important thing is that all the ingredients are natural and homemade.
In a container with a volume of 0.800 gallon(3 liters) need the leaves of raspberry, currant, cherry, horseradish and dill blossoms. And also will need garlic, bay leaf, hot pepper, black pepper, salt and water.

Cucumber pre-wash and cut off tails (they are better soaked in the marinade).

On the bottom of the jar put all the ingredients except salt.

Now put the cucumbers.

Pour salt in approximately 50-60 grams and fill with cold water.

Closed with rubber caps and put in a warm place. In two days you can eat. Get awesome pickles!

Nice work @natali22! I bet those pickles are tasty. I regularly make fermented foods myself, so it was really interesting to see your approach. All the best on steemit :)

Привет из Одессы, Угостишь огурчиками? :)

Да без проблем:)

Great work! :) We do this overhere in Hungary too.

Pickle me , pickles - always nice with a burger

My garden is also producing way more pickles than I can eat at daily basis. Friend told me last year how he loves sun bathed pickles. (Recipe similar to yours). Will make them up by your recipe and give one jar to him.
Thank you.

I love the simplicity !

I make my own pickles too, but just using salt, pepper and dill. The probiotics from the fermentation make them so good for you and my kids love them :)
