Steemia Pay is a cross platform mobile app wallet for Steem and SBD. It has been built by the same team that created Steemia mobile app. he Steemia Pay wallet enables the user to send money to any steem account, recieve money from anyone via QR code and real time location of nearby places that offer payment options via Steemia. Pretty cool!

This suggestion post is regarding the peer to peer fund transfer feature provided by Steemia Pay for improvement of UI/UX to include validations on transfer fields.

Proposal

On the Send Money Modal :
I would suggest to add validations to username field to check for a valid username. The form should show an error as soon as the user enters a username which is invalid.

Also there must be a way to show available balance in users wallet besides the amount input, so that user knows how much balance he has before initiating a transfer. If a users enters invalid amount then it should throw an error immediately.

The transfer button should be disabled until all fields have no validation errors.

Currently there is no validation applied on any of the fields as you can see in below screenshot.

Validations should be applied on receiver username and the amount as shown below.

Benefits

Implementing validations will reduce the number of failed transactions because of invalid account name, invalid or insufficient amount related errors. Users will be able to confirm the transaction details in run time which will improve user interaction.
