CrazyHouse Chess is one of the many chess variants available on Lichess platform, it is a kind in which a player can introduce a captured piece back to the chessboard as their own. Each piece a player captures is stored in his pocket until he uses it. To use any of these pieces, you have to drag and drop the piece from the pocket to the proposed square you want it on the chessboard. Note that the piece can only be introduced into the game by dragging and dropping.

Proposal Description
As explained above that the pieces can only be introduced by "Drag and drop", I suggest that "Click and drop" feature should also be used.
How to bring a piece from the pocket using the "click and drop" feature
- Firstly, Click on the preferred piece in the pocket.
- The Clicked piece will be highlighted showing all the possible squares it can end up on the chessboard ( The squares will be dotted)
Then to complete the move
- Click on one of the available squares.
Mockups / Examples
This GIF shows how the pieces and introduced from the pocket. You will notice i tried clicking the piece.
This is a perfect example of the "click and drop" feature
Benefits
This feature will save time as it allows player know where the pieces can land on the chessboard. And most times when dragging the pieces, they can be misplaced on another square, a mistake that is rarely corrected except the opponent accepts the takeback proposal, but can never be corrected when playing tournaments because there is no option for proposing a takeback.
Hello @anonymee, thank you for this contribution. However, it seems that you are not the only one clamouring for the pick and drop feature.
