My proposal today is on the addition of an upcoming event feature on the steemit blockchain as it helps in the rapid share of information.

BENEFITS ;
The addition of the notification bar would help serve the blockchain with the following benefits, To :

1. Know appropriate meetups within one's community :
   
   If this feature is added to the platform, informative meetups could be spread as one will get notified of the event ahead of time.

2. Easily share and update an important information.
   
   A steemit event page is the best place to post all of the key information for an event invitation including guides on where to buy tickets, where the event will take place, and the date and time of commencement.

3. Creates buzz
   
   Once something is posted on steemit , the news can spread before you know it. An upvote here, a resteem there, or one update from someone about attending the event.
