Add "Checklist" feature to Simple Notes application

This is a suggestion article for Simple Notes.

Simple Notes

Simple note is an application that replaces a notebook or jotter. This that can be used on our handheld devices , preferable android device. Quick notes and write ups can be drafted using this application. It has an easy to use interface. I have a feature request for this application (Simple Notes)

Proposal

I will like to suggest that the Checklist feature should be added to the application. The application has only a notepad where quick notes can be typed. In our physical note books and jotters, we write things we need to do and we tick after we have done them. With the checklist feature, users will just tick with one click after meeting a target.

The user should be able to create a To-Do list with this feature.

Here are pictorial illustration below of how I think the feature should be placed and how it should work:

After selecting New checklist, a page appears. The user can type a title and a list of what is to be done. An example of a checklist list is shown below:

According to the image, the user created a shopping list. The user bought tomatoes already and as shown in the picture above, the check box in front of Tomatoes has been ticked by the user.

Benefits

The checklist option makes the application a go-to application for everyday to use. Most people have a plan of the things they want to accomplish daily, weekly, monthly and yearly; so this application will always be of help to them. Users will be able make a list of activities and check when it is accomplished and this increases the versatility of the application.

Also, the feature will definitely give the application a more improved look. Day to day of use of the application by user will also lead to users recommending it to non-users.
