The need to have language options on Flym news reader.

Introduction

Flym news reader is currently my favourite android app for news contents. It is simple, light and easy to use. The widgets work properly and the number of filters allows you to fine tune news feeds or contents to your taste.

Suggestion

However I noticed there is no language options under settings. Definitely this issue cannot be overlooked because there are other major languages in the world such as Mandarin Chinese, Hindi, Portuguese, French, Spanish, Korean, Bengali, Russian, Japanese, Arabic and German.

All of these languages have millions of native speakers and it would be proper to have language options on Flym news reader. This is shown below

The screenshot shows where the Language option can be fixed.

This is in contrast with an app such as eSteem which has about forty languages:

Importance of suggestion.

Having options for major Languages will increase the chances of Flym news reader being adopted by a majority of the worlds population and therefore increased visibility.

Since its an open source project, developers that are non-English speakers will also have interest in contributing their quota to the development of the application

Conclusion

A great news reader app like Flym needs to provide language options for its users. This will increase the usage of the app across the globe. I do hope this will be considered.
