Description
This tutorial explores how to use four mixer and mute modules by BogAudio
Learn how to use VCM
VCM is a voltage controlled 4-channel mixer. It can function as a simple mixer by connected the inputs and the output appropriately or each input channel can be controlled with voltage. There is also a control voltage input on the main gain control output as well as a choice of linear or exponential combination of all inputs to the output.
Learn how to use UMix
UMix simply sums all the 8 inputs into a single output. There is an attenuator to control the output level. In the right-click menu you have the option of choosing a 'summed' or 'average' of all the input signals to be sent to the output.
Learn how to use Matrix88
This is a very versatile module. We are given 8 inputs on the left. We are also given 8 outputs at the bottom of each column. Each input strip is given 8 attenuverters corresponding with the 8 outputs. This allows us to send as much signal from each individual input to any of the 8 individual outputs. You can use this to create 8 unique mixes on the outputs from 8 inputs. It has a lot of potential.
Learn how to use Mute8
Mute8 is a great little module. It allows you to have 8 individual channel for signal (audio or CV). Each channel can be manually muted with the button or it can be triggered with an external device.
I hope you enjoy this tutorial. If you have any specific questions for me feel free to leave it in the comments of this post and I will do my best to get back to you with an answer.
