Youtube to Mp3, a desktop application for downloading and converting, is an easy to use and useful program. This app MIT licensed, and an open source project. I wanted to create a logo for this application because when I saw the original logo, it gave me no information about the program. By the way, this is my first graphics contribution. I hope you will like it.

Benefits / Improvements
When you look at the original logo lightning symbol does not mean anything to you. When I think about changing the original logo for a while, I decided that absolutely mp3 symbol should be in logo. Only to apply mp3 symbol could show the logo as a music listening application. Because of this, I preferred to add arrows to represent the downloading feature of the application.
Why I used these colors?
- I used the green color by mixing the colors of the application. In this way, I have not completely moved away from the application colors as well as I used green color to represent the calmness of music.
- I also opted to use red as the background color. Because I think that "The first thing to notice in an app about YouTube is sharing the same color with YouTube"
Tools
I used Adobe Illustrator CS6 to make this logo.
