Suggestion: ability to save search results on Chromium web browser.

in utopian-io •  7 years ago  (edited)

Component

Chromium is an Open Source web browser available for Linux, Windows, OS X and Android Operating Systems

Proposal

I would want to propose that the ability to save search pages directly be added to the browser. This can be done by adding "saved pages" that can display saved search results to the menu bar of the browser. This would enable users to go over their search results later when they need to and don't have data or network to surf the internet.

Mockups/examples

This is the what the menu bar of the chromium in android currently look like without a "saved pages" function:

Some browsers already have this function working. Below is an example of a browser with the save function in the menu and this can be added to the Chromium browser.

Benefits

If this suggestion is implemented, the following benefits will happen:

a. Users would be able to access search results when they need to and don't have data or network to surf the internet.

b. More users would want to use the browser if this is added to it.

Thanks for going through this, hopefully it is approved.
