Suggestions: The possibility of Users to be able to log into Steemgigs either as a Service provider or Clients, Service providers should bid for jobs.

Component

Steemgigs.org is a unique platform with a unique design and great functionalities but it can be improved upon. The platform can be more engaging with users having better and unforgettable experiences just by using the platform.

Proposal

When a user wants a professional service and logs into the platform. he/she would go to the category of service that he/she wants say Music & Audio, I observed that usually the posts he/she sees is arranged with the last post of that category making the top of the list. This is good but not effective.

I want to propose the following and I believe that it would make the platform more productive, effective and hence users would take the platform more seriously:

a. A user should be able to log in as a Service provider (someone that posted the gig or is providing the service) or a Client (someone at needs a service).

b. A client should post the service that he/she wants while the Service provider gets notified automatically(either by email or comment on the service provider’s gig) of the Client’s current need of service based on the category of service that he/she is providing. For instance; if a Client wants a song written for him/her, only Service providers in music & Audio category should get notified.

c. Service providers should bid for the client’s job by applying for it with a proof of his/her work. Clients can then choose the best application and get the profession service that he/she desires.

One way a Service provider can get notified of a gig that a Client desires is by email. Below is a form of notification gotten by a service provider from another platform;

Benefits

If this is implemented, the following benefits would happen;

a. Steemgigs would be more engaging and users would take the platform more seriously.

b. Only serious users get paid hence Service providers would offer only their best to get and maintain their Clients.

c. More users (Clients) would flood into the platform because they are sure of getting professional services.

d. The credibility of the Steemgigs platform would be improved upon.
