MotorcU Open Source Django Project - Tire Pressure App v0.3-beta / Motorcu Modular v1.0-beta

Motorcu django app, it is the beginning of a platform that I want to build for all motorcycle drivers in our country. A project that I believe will grow by taking the support of more motorcycle drivers. I would like to develop this project with all the contents we need in our life such as calculations, technical information, catalogs, motorcycle brands, services etc.. that we can access. Motorcu support only Turkish language just for now.

This contribution covers two different features. These are;

• v0.3-beta Motorcu Tire Pressure App (New App)
• v1.0-beta Motorcu Modular (New Project Structure)

Tire Pressure App ( release: v0.3-beta)

Short information about logo;
This django app created for motorcycle users. Therefore I watermark this logo with my motorcycle helmet. The existing circle symbolizes the vehicle tire. Arrows also symbolize pressure.

As you know, cruising on a motorcycle is a balance ability at the same time. If motorcycle users do not use tires at the correct pressure values, this will result in poor results and accidents, as they go on two wheels.

This new application requires some parameters from you.

• The brand / model of your motorcycle,
• The brand model of your motorcycle's tire,
• The total weight of your bike,
• Total weight of passengers on the motorcycle,

This application will tell you the minimum tire pressure using these parameters. Front and rear.

Motorcu Modular (release: v1.0-beta)

After this application, I decided to move the project to a modular structure in order to differentiate the areas of developed applications, and to be able to contribute more easily. In the new structure, each application will develop in its own application envelope, and it is the main purpose to use the development contributions to be done in a more convenient way for the purpose and to support the modular part by part work.

For this reason, a new django app folder has been created for each application, and these applications have been added to the settings file of django. At the same time, the URL regeneration has been restructured according to these applications. This is a big improvement for the project because of the changing directory structure and url structure, and this step is reported as a new version.

Here are the changes for this release;
