Social chat is open source project which is basically developed to make conversations easier. You can search for people using the app directly from the add friend icon which will help you make and meet new friends.
Proposal
I'm suggesting an improvement to social chat app as below:
- Status option.
Here we can upload our status, our mood and our likes. Just like the features in messengers like whatsapp. You can share photos and videos of yours to stay in touch with everyone.

The status option will be used to upload any photos or videos you want to share with your friends

You can share some moments of you or anything you liked or want people to see by adding them in your status. You can share your days without talking about them by simply just putting them on your status and let your friends and family know about you.
