A QR Scanner suggestion in Yuzu browser

Components

The Yuzu android web browser is a powerful open source tool. a responsive browser that actually allows users to modify the UI by providing various themes and view modes.

Proposal

QR Code is abbreviated from (Quick Response Code) which is a two-dimensional barcode consisting of a black and white pixel pattern which allows to encode up to a few hundred characters.

Most fliers and posters today have website addresses encoded with QR Code, and
Since most android smartphones come with camera capabilities I recommend the introduction of a simple QR code scanner in the application

Benefits

Some benefits of this include;

  • Ease and Faster access to websites as against having to type the url.
  • Security reasons as Some cloned sites has similar url which might confuse user, this ensures user visits correct web address.
