Barcode Scanner is a mobile application that can read and define barcodes and other code types through the camera located on your device. You can easily define the codes which are the one of essential redirection techniques especially in mobile world. This application is devoloped as open source.
Present Icon
Firstly, I created a barcode designing considering the application is a barcode reader. Then I designed a square shaped telephone to tell users these barcodes can be read by phones. And I combined these 2 drawings.
I determined the color palette I will use for the icon.

Benefits / Improvements
This new icon have really strong view from the old icon that existing and have more elegant/modern shape from the old one. Barcode Scanner New icon is made more simple but catchy.
