Create Database dialog dismisses whenever the screen is rotated

Expected behavior

At the "Database" settings activity, when I click on the "Create database" option the create database dialog comes up. I expected the app to keep the text typed in and also keep the dialog from dismissing when the screen is rotated.

Actual behavior

When I click on "Create database" the create database dialog comes up, when I typed in a name of the database and rotate the screen, the app kills/dismisses the dialog and its content.

How to reproduce

Download the app from play store
Launch the app
At the Home Activity, Open the Navigation drawer and click on "Settings"
Click on "Database"
Click on "Create database"
Type in a name for the database
Rotate the screen
The create database dialog disappears

Version: Version 2018.02.26.981
Operating system: A1 lite, Android 7.0

as this is the same error caused by the rotation factor , it would be more apprciated to add this into your last one as one bug report

Please can you look at it again. They both happen when the screen is rotated,yes but there are different issues. The earlier post is a design problem, the UI needs to be redesign for landscape view and you can not say fixing that will solve the logical problem that happened here. They happened when u rotate the screen in the app, but they are different bugs.
