New Proposed Icon for Vibration Tester

Good day Steemians!
Here’s my new design icon for Vibration Tester.

About the App

Vibration Tester is an open-source app used for testing vibration motors using mobile phones. This application is available for android devices.

Proposed Versus Official Icon

I used the original color of the official icon, also the mobile phone which is originally incorporated in the official icon. I added a wrench to symbolize that this app is a tool.

My Concept

I made a wrench to represents that this app is an instrument. Then a mobile phone to shows that this application is for android devices. Next is the vibration reading. Finally, the vibration symbol that I used for the background.

Alternative Backgrounds

The first color conveys the original color used in the official icon. Then I choose two other colors to consider whichever seems to fit.

Fonts

The font style I used in the presentation is "Berlin Sans FB".

Benefits/Improvement

I introduced new symbol in creating my new design icon while maintaining the original thought the official icon conveys thus enhancing the existing icon. I provided vector files so anyone can edit or improve.

Tools

I used the Adobe Illustrator CC 2017 in the creation of this new icon as well as the presentation.
