categorize countries into continents

Pocket maps is a map viewing application that enable users located a given address on the map. One of the great feature of this app is its ability to download map for offline use and with this feature, internet connection will never be a barrier for users. However, I strongly believe that there is still room for improvement in some are and that is why I am suggesting the bellow.

Proposal

I want to propose that countries should be categorized under the continent they belong to instead of just listing the whole countries under one list, that makes it difficult at times to locate country of choice.
This should be code in such a way that if users click on the + sign (see pic 1) it should load list of continents (see pic 2), and when loaded, user should have these options; 1.to download the whole maps of the continent of choice by clicking on the download icon in front of the continent 2. Click on the continent for countries of the continent to load, then select countries of choice by log pressing the first country and then tap to select more after which the user will click on the download selected countries icon at the top right hand side of the app (see pic 4).
For Example, if I want to download Nigeria map, all I have to do is to click on the + sign, click on Africa (which will load the countries of Africa {see pic3}) from the list of continent that loads, then scroll down to Nigeria and download. If in another case I want to download map of Cameroon, Benin and Nigeria, all I have to do is just long press one of the countries then click on the 2 other and then press the download selected countries at the top right.

Benefits

The app will look more organized and professional; it will be easier for users to locate country(ies) of choice as they are categorized under continents. The multiple select feature will also help users save the time and stress of having to download country maps one after the other.
