SockoBot is trying to be the only tool you'll ever need on your server when it comes to steem, while also being easily expandable to anyone that knows a bit of Python.

Details

The new README.md file contains information about the new commands and functionalities introduced since the file was first created. A short description of the bot's purpose was added, and some extra explanation to how to run it properly was given.

The screenshots have also been updated from polish to english, as polish is currently no longer supported in the development updates.

Components

The entire README.md file was updated - this includes stuff like:

  • A short description of the purpose of SockoBot.
  • A explanation to how to run the bot properly using the included monitor.sh file.
  • New screenshots and command descriptions.
  • New commands/functionalities added.

Diff

The README.md file existed before, but it was very old and didn't reflect on the changes that SockoBot went through in the last month or so. As such, the screenshots were outdated, a command was lacking a parameter (see $payout), the general description was missing and information on how to use monitor.sh to run the bot in a crash-prevention mode was not given. All of these are no longer the case.

You can see the examples of that below.

Hey @ms10398, I just gave you a tip for your hard work on moderation. Upvote this comment to support the utopian moderators and increase your future rewards!

I've always been interested in writing a Discord bot, anything I could contribute to this?

No clear plans or TODOs as of now, you're welcome to add any steem related functionality though. This bot is all about versatility!
