Flym News Reader is a simple, modern, totally free and opensource project which keeps you inform by fetching your websites/blogs and displaying them in a mobile-optimized way. It is ad free and it easily adds news feed from Google news.

Proposal

The idea that i am going to present is about few important missing features in the app. The features are given below

1. Notifications
2. Top
3. Locals
4. Briefs
   Now i will show you how the news feed window looks like with the help of an image and then i will explain the features needed.
   

• Notifications This feature should be added to get the notifications of the feed and about recents news added.
• Top This feature should be added to show the top news headlines from the world.
• Local This feature is needed to get news when we want to get news from a selected state only.
• Briefs This feature will help us to briefly get the news of the world and read it in short time.

In this section I will show you how the addtion can be made and where these features can be added with the help of an example, for this i will upload a picture.

Benefits

The benefits of the above mentioned features are stated below.

• Notifications will help to keep track of the latest news and what is happening in the world.
• Top feature will help us to get the feed full of the trending news all across the world which will work as a filter for us.
  *Local feature will help us to get the news about the local states or local locations even if we are not around.
• Brief feature will help us to read the news briefly when we actually cant really spend too much time on the news related to a single topic.
  The above features will be beneficial for the user and help us to get news from different sectors and will give us filters for the feed too.
