While the author of this contribution post was using the said android application, he found out that the numbers from 1, 000 and above do not have a separator in between. The section/component of this application which I wanted to have some modification is within the " Appearance of Numbers Which Should be Grouped "

With this kind of situation, the users of the said application will be having a trouble in terms of groupings of the numbers. When in a hurry while using the said application, there is a tendency that any user will write " 100 " instead of " 1,000 ". Thus the problem that will exist here is the “ confusion about the groupings of the numbers ”. If this kind of problem always exist while using the said application, the purpose of the application would somehow be unsuitable as to what is its use. Also, it will become ineffective and less efficient in such a way that the user will have confusions on what number he/she really is about to write as an answer. Furthermore, it would somehow affect the tasks to be done by the user while using the said application at the same time.

Proposal

From the said situation above, this suggestion had come up on my mind. The developers of the said android application should " add a Feature and Settings in which the appearing numbers/answers of the calculations will be separated and grouped or in short, ADD A DIGIT GROUP SEPARATOR BETWEEN THE NUMBERS 1, 000 AND ABOVE. " This contribution suggests that the numbers starting from 1,000 and up should have a digit separator in between. In order to determine what group of digit a specific number belongs, the existence of a separator is a must.

In order to make this suggestion possible, the Steemit developers should make some enhancement on their website from which this suggestion will be included and so as to be implemented. To make this suggestion easier to interpret, the author of this contribution post provided the current format as well as his suggested format.

Benefits

1. Confusion among users will be removed while using the application giving them the confidence that they are on the the exact number. It will make this application reliable and efficient as well as the number of users will grow.
2. It will be easier to identify if the number is on the ones, tenths, hundredths, thousandths place and so on. The numbers will be separated according to its groupings and thus, the numbers will be grouped properly.
3. This new feature will be beneficial to both the managements and its users in the sense that both of them will be able to have enhancements and developments.
4. New development in the feature of NCalc+ (Android Open Source App) since it will be a new milestone to be achieved by the developers.
