Create And Define Constraints (UNIQUE-NOT NULL- PRIMERY KEY-DEFAULT) On The HeidiSQL For The Using Windows

HeidiSQL is an open source database. We can store and manage our datas in the HeidiSQL. We can create queries on the HeidiSQL.

What Will I Learn?

  • In this video we will learn how to switch between data tables and query views in HeidiSQL application.
  • We will learn how can we write and display our queries on the HeidiSQL.
  • Also we will learn what is the constraints and how can we use constraints on the HeidiSQL.
  • We will learn what is the UNIQUE constraint and how can we use this command on the HeidiSQL.
  • Also in this video we will learn what is the NOT NULL constraint and how can we use this constraint on our application.
  • We will learn what is the PRIMERY KEY constraint and how can we use this constraint on the HeidiSQL in this video.
  • Also we will learn what is the DEFAULT constraint and how can we use this constraint on the HeidiSQL.

Requirements

  • We need to HeidiSQL application for the create DataBase and Tables . HeidiSQL is an open source database. We can download it from here.

HeidiSQL is an open source database program. We can stores and manages our datas on the HeidiSQL program. We can download it on the Requirements Parts.

We can manages and stores our MySQL database's datas on the HeidiSQL. For the connect to MySql we should have WampServer program. We can download it on the Requirements Parts.

We can write our queries on the HeidiSQL Query part. We can display our queries results on the HeidiSQL.

Also we can create constraints on the HeidiSQL.

We can create constraints on the HeidiSQL Database that do not allow empty records.

With using HeidiSQL database, we can create constraints that do not allow recurrent registrations.

On the HeidiSQL Database with PRIMARY KEY, we can use unique records in the relevant area of our table.

On the HeidiSQL Database, If the field value of the table is empty by the user, we can let the system automatically assign a value to that field.

Commands I Use

UNIQUE i used this command for the block entry same data on our areas

NOT NULL i used this command for the block to hold NULL values on our areas

PRIMERY KEY i used this command i used this command for the uniquely identifies each record in a database table.

DEFAULT i used this command for the provide a default value on our selected areas.
