Brave browser tabs stop functioning if kept inactive for a long periodsteemCreated with Sketch.

Brave browser is a free and open-source web browser based on the Chromium web browser and its Blink engine. It was founded by Brendan Eich, the creator of JavaScript. It is still currently under development in beta.

I use it on both mobile and sometimes on desktop. Recently, I noticed that after the new release of version 0.19 for desktop, the browser's tabs would stop working if it is kept inactive for a long period. If the browser is kept open for 6 to 8 hours without any activity, the tabs stop functioning.

I have attached a gif file showing the bug.

How to reproduce:

  1. Open a few tabs.
  2. Leave the browser open and do something else.
  3. Come back after 6-8 hours.

I've experienced the same on OS X Sierra and High Sierra. I wonder if it's a memory leak. Diving in.
