Some additional features to Swpie view.

Components

Swpie view is an open source android app. It is a minimalist image viewer that aims for good Gif support. It can show a directory of images, or display a single image if called from an external app. It supports pause/play of gifs and a slideshow mode. It is basically a gallery. That supports all formats. We can generally preview our previously shot picture or video on this application.

Proposal

I am suggesting the addition of three features which are unavailable right now in this app. Ist one is Details of any picture. Second is camera option, third one is sharing of pictures and fourth one is, set picture as.

First I'll explain these features

• Details: Details is an important feature. It basically provides information or basic data about any picture or video. Information like title, time, width, height, file size, path of storage.

• Camera option: camera option feature must be implemented in the app. As it provides a shortcut and faster opening of camera in gallery.

• Share: This feature is basic it has to be in this app. A user can easily share photos or videos through Bluetooth, shareit, gmail, message etc. He can also upload pictures to any social site like Instagram, whatsapp, Facebook etc.

• Set picture as: By this feature users can easily set pictures as walpaper, whatsapp profile picture, contact photo etc. So i think this is an important feature.

This picture shows the icon of camera in the swpie view gallery, that I've putted. It must be implemented.

This picture shows the details, set picture as, share features, i have putted these here for easy accessibility.

Benefits

By these implements benifits will be:

• Details: Benefits of adding this feature will be the users will get informed about the details of any picture or video, its size, title, width, height, path, so it must be implemented .

• Camera option: This feature will provide a shortcut opening of camera. Users don't have to get back to homescreen to open camera. Just one click on camera icon.

• Share: It is an important feature, users will be able to share photo or videos faster and easily on social sites. This will make the app stand apart and attractive.

• Set picture as: Users will be able to set pictures as walpapers, contact photo, profile pictures easily and fastly. They don't have to go in settings and peek for wallpapers or anything else.

These are the little improvements. But will really result in bringing the app to a better platform.
