What's new ?
As you probably already heard about, Steemplus is having a major improvement ! Steemplus Points (SPP)! SteemPlus points will be used to buy premium features or receive daily upvotes from SteemPlus (>15 000 SP when votes start).This new version of the API includes two new major features. The first one and the most important is a routine to update the number of SteemPlus Points. Since all the SPP are earned from actions on the blockchain, it s easy for any user to run its own version of this API to check that there was no foul play.
We decided to run this routine once an hour to update the number of SteemPlus points.
The second feature is a route allowing Steemplus extension to get the details of an account, its number of SPPs and details about those SPPs.
How to get SteemPlus Points ?
Many differents ways! 6 so far and this number will grow :
1 - Boost a post with @minnowbooster using Steemplus

The amount of money you sent to MinnowBooster (example : You send 10 SBD , you receive 10 SPP)
2 - Boost a post with @PostPromoter using Steemplus

The amount of money you sent to PostPromoter (example : You send 50 SBD, you receive 50 SPP)
3 - Create a new post with Beneficiaries using Steemplus

Installation procedures
- Subscribe to SteemSQL (10 SBD/month)
- Clone this repository
npm install- Set the environment variables (information received by transfer when you subscribe to SteemSQL). These environment variables are
LOGIN,PASSWORD,SQL_APIandDB. npm run start- You should be able to test it on
localhost:3000.

I am going to try uploading my videos directly to DTube as well. So I am guessing it will be possible to add beneficiaries to DTube videos as well.

If you upload your videos directly from DTube website, intead of using SteemPlus, you will not earn SteemPlus Points

Sorry, I should clarify what I mean. I mean upload directly to DTube using SteemPlus. I uploaded a video yesterday using SteemPlus. It was very convenient. I tried to add beneficiaries but I think DTube overrides that because of their 24% requirement.
