Add sort option for designs in Plaid

Plaid is an open source android app which focuses on material design.
I'm asking for a sort option where you can sort by date, size, relevance, popular, etc which is not available in the app.

Proposal

As we get to see the homepage of the application you're presented different designs and on top of that there are a few options available at the top right corner of the screen like search and filter.

I'm proposing that there should also be an option where you can sort the designs as per your requirements.

Example

In the image below I've shown how it should be implemented. I've placed the sort option right next to the options search and filter where it can be easily accessed.

In the below image I've shown that when you press on the sort option a popup should appear in front of the screen where you can choose the sort you wish.

Here I've presented different sort option ls like relevance, new, old, popular, size. There can also be included a custom sort in a similar manner.

Benefits

When we open the app we don't have any control on what we're offered by it except by the filter option where we can filter our choices. The benefit of using or implementing a sort option will be of much use.
A user can see posts depending on his choice. If he wishes to only see new designs he/she can sort by the new option.
If someone wishes to only see popular designs he/she can see popular designs when clicking on the popular option once provided.
Similarly a user can get access to designs he wants to see.
It will make Plaid much more comfortable and easy to use.
Its a must have feature in an app like Plaid and I'd definitely like to have this feature enabled in Plaid soon.
